When you enter the game you are taken on a little shopping spree, here you will learn how to buy the different items you want, and get your first taste of personalizing your look. With a huge range of free options to begin with you are able to pick a hairstyle, makeup and outfit to fit your mood and begin the game with.
After that you are taken to your room, which has a few pieces of furniture and your wardrobe. Here is where you can change your look at any time from anything you own and it shows you instantly what any changes look like. You also have the option to change your room and add new furniture too.
Now you open up a lot of the features of the game, and one of the most important is starting to make some money so that you can buy the items that you want. There is a shop that you own to sell items to customers, some of which can also be players. You get to pick the stock and the displays and the better it looks the more you will sell. The shop can be accessed at any time and you can leave it running while you do other things.
There are also quests that you can complete, these are a great way to earn money, and they give you a lot of other rewards too. Many of them are pretty simple, though some require a bit more effort. The glamour points are earned automatically when you increase your wardrobe, and these also unlock special clothing items so the more you have the better your wardrobe will be, which then adds more glamour, which is a nice little thing to try and do.
Fame points are earned by winning showdowns against other players. These are little shows where you dress in an outfit, and try to earn more votes than 2 other characters from the game. These votes are by the players, and you can vote before or after you enter into a showdown. The winner then earns fame points which can be spent on new items. If you find you are running low or wish for more coins, glamour or fame you can also use diamonds. These are the premium currency and are available for real money.
