Due to this, it’s probably a good idea to go through the game’s short and quick tutorial to familiarize yourself with the game before diving into an actual match.

In this game, every bingo card you buy costs bingo chips, or “bingos” for short. You can buy up to four bingo cards per game. To get more chips, you can collect some for free daily or complete the daily tasks to earn them. The core of the gameplay is still bingo as you know it – a number is called; you daub your cards accordingly, and if you get any of the winning patterns, of which there are many, you’ll win a bingo. However, there are some refreshingly new aspects to the game that made Wizard of Bingo so much more interesting.

One such feature is the booster. Every correct daub you make charges up your booster meter, with three correct daubs netting you a random booster. The booster you get can range from getting doubled experience points for your next daubs to getting random “wild daubs” which function just like wild cards in UNO. Some numbers on the card will also grant certain rewards like coins or reward chests when daubed, as indicated by the icon, if there’s any, behind the number.

The game even has hints, too. They cost a pretty “premium penny", but they can be insanely useful. For instance, the daub hint conveniently highlights the number when it’s called if you have it on your card. This makes it a lot easier to keep track of the numbers, especially when you have four bingo cards on hand.

Each bingo room can fit a maximum of 50 players, and because of this, the game is more lenient in terms of the number of winners. In other words, they allow more players to become winners. However, the order in which you get a bingo matters here since a first-place bingo will obviously get a lot more rewards then say a 15th place. Each bingo room also houses a special jigsaw collection. You can earn jigsaw pieces by opening reward chests you’ve gathered from each game. Though, I should probably point out that you won’t always get a jigsaw piece per reward chest you open. The rewards you get are entirely random.

There are many magic- and fantasy-themed bingo rooms for you to play in Wizard of Bingo, though you’ll need to unlock them first by leveling up. Leveling up here seems easy enough – just keep playing! Every daub will earn you at least one experience point. Naturally, you’ll get more if you have the double experience booster active.

Wizard of Bingo is incredibly generous with its currency and gifts, but as a freemium game, it survives by selling purchasables at its in-game store. Wizard of Bingo also offers a VIP club subscription, which allows VIP subscribers access to exclusive VIP rooms like Baby Boom, Bee Garden, and Dwarf's Kingdom; increased chances of winning thanks to unique bingo patterns, and, of course, the removal of pesky ads that pop up in between games.

Focusing on its community aspect, Wizard of Bingo is social in the sense that you can send and receive gifts from game friends, the gifts of which can be bingo chips or boosters. The system is pretty similar to the ones used in most “social freemium” games like Farmville.

In terms of visuals, the game features vibrant colors complete with attractive visuals that I’d liken to the kind you’d see on slot machines. The sound matches the game perfectly, offering players a fairly laid-back atmosphere to enjoy playing their bingo games.
