“The match-3 gaming space is evolving, and we wanted to create a whole new dimension for this genre with Fuzzy Critters,” said Eli Baazov, Founder and CEO of PeopleCorp Gaming. “Fuzzy Critters is an engaging, interactive mobile game that you can play with friends and family in real time, it’s free to play and it’s perfectly suited for players of all ages. Most of all, the game is a lot of fun.”
The objective is to get your pet to the end of the pipe by matching three or more of the colored keys on the board before running out of moves. Fuzzy Critters features an adorable cast of pets to choose from and unique gameplay mechanics. Fuzzy Critters offers a single-player campaign mode as well as a head-to-head dynamic dueling system for multiplayer fun. Users can play against their friends in friendly matches or compete in fuzzy matches through the app’s matchmaking system. Additionally, there are regular weekend ‘Fuzzy Championships’ where users can win cash prizes with no purchase necessary. The game also has a fully integrated social environment within the app that enables users to add friends and chat in real time.
“We started with a well-known concept: the match-3 game,” Baazov said. “We knew the basics would appeal to a wide range of people, and our goal was to create a new 3D experience that would take it a step further.”
Fuzzy Critters was brought to life by a team of 15 artists from PeopleCorp Gaming, and the game stands out with original music for each neighborhood and a hand-drawn, unique art style that immerses gamers in a realistic and interactive experience. Inspiration for the game came from the team’s pop culture background, from movies they loved as kids.
“Whether you’re a gamer at heart or just looking for a little distraction in your free time, you’ll find yourself easily immersed in the Fuzzy Critters world,” he said. “We plan to continue to evolve and update the game regularly with new neighborhoods and features. It will be an ongoing journey for our dedicated players.”
The Fuzzy Critters mobile app is available for download from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
