Plotline
Assume the role of Lee Hui-Min in this dark tale of love and occultic events. The story starts with the playable main character trying to break into the school after hours when most people have already left. His goal is to return the diary of WAIFU, who lost it earlier in the day, and seize the opportunity to give her a token of his affection.
This sweet gesture quickly takes a sudden turn for the worst when the horrors plaguing this place rear their ugly head. The protagonist meets unexpected people and witnesses gruesome acts. This cements the realization that his situation is way past the norms of reality. He will encounter frightening apparitions and mind-boggling ciphers and overcome obstacles to lift the veil of mystery and get whatever chance of staying alive possible.
Gameplay
Experience survival horror in a school setting. Exploration, stealth, and not dying are the critical factors of your playthrough. The goal is to avoid all hostile threats, solve puzzles, and gather essential items to help you through the story.
Progression is measured by how far a player takes the narrative and what direction it goes through the use of dialogue options. There are eight different endings, and the actions you take during crucial moments will influence which one you will receive.
The title is a survival-focused horror adventure game. It is played from a first-person view perspective. A player must interact with various objects in the world to trigger effects that progress the narrative. NPCs are acting like hunters looking for their prey, avoiding them at all costs because the MC will be killed and resulting in a game over. Weird entities like ghosts, on the other hand, will inflict damage, and death ensues if your health points reach zero. Avoid this by consuming food from the vending machines scattered throughout the vicinity; these require 500 yen coins to function. One can also make use of tools to aid in completing.
Saving is only done on a bulletin board. There is no limit on how many times you can use this function. Make sure to save often to not lose progress. A lot of things are out to get you, and one can never be too sure what is lurking beyond any corner. Something will catch you sooner or later, so be vigilant.

Graphics/Sound
This title is rendered in a full 3D environment. The player perspective is set in a first-person view. The user interface is stylized but not intrusive to the eyes. Everything can be seen clearly, and the functions of each button are intuitive.
There are fully animated cinematic cutscenes at specific points that help flesh out the narrative. The movements and facial expressions of the characters are rendered skillfully.
The environments are well designed. Hallways are dimly lit or utterly dark, thanks to fantastic lighting and shadows. Some rooms can be too spooky to venture into because of the great use of darkness. It is deliberately designed this way for paranoia to quickly set in and make players second guess if they actually saw something lurking in the shadows. The fear of not seeing anything can sometimes be more effective.
Enemies and ghosts are visually unsettling. Seeing one for the first time is a guaranteed jump scare. Puzzles and other important items stand out and can easily be picked out from the background. The game uses visual techniques to help convey their importance.
The audio in the game is impressive. Every little noise, subtle scratching, and loud dialogue adds to the fear factor. Ambient sounds help increase immersion and set the mood to something eerie. It is effectively unsettling and pairs well with the corresponding visuals. There is voice acting present, and the performances are decent. Support for multiple languages is available as well.
