Summary

Tap Heroes: Clicker War is an idle RPG game that centers around an extensive collection of cool heroes. In this game, you strategize by choosing the right heroes to make up your team, and arrange them in a formation with a frontline and a back line. Lead the priest, assassin and more hero characters into the raid zone to fight and obtain treasures from monsters! The monsters will eventually get harder to beat, so make sure your heroes can catch up and outdo the monsters by becoming even stronger! Upgrade the level and tier of your heroes, and awaken their locked potentials! Give them only the greatest of equipment and they will bring back the loot you deserve!

Plotline

In Tap Heroes: Clicker War, there are countless of treasures scattered around this magical land. Golds, diamonds and all the glittery valuables are waiting for brave adventurers to claim the right to own them. However, these treasures are heavily guarded by dangerous and bloodthirsty monsters, who are ready to shred anyone that dares come close to pieces. Here is where our journey begins, summons the brave heroes that are ready to charge right into the battlefield and starts this exciting treasure hunt! Watch as your heroes get stronger with each fight, and bring you more victories and treasures!

Gameplay

When players start Tap Heroes: Clicker War the first time, there is a tutorial at the beginning of the game to explain the simple game mechanics. Before starting this magical adventure, players will require a team of powerful heroes that are ready to embark on this adventure with them. The tutorial will bring new players immediately to the summoning circle to summon a few heroes to joint the roster. Then players will be guided through fights, then the market area to buy powerful items and upgrading their heroes.

There is only one goal in this adventure: to defeat every single monster standing in your way of treasure hunting. The fights are completely automatic, called auto-battle, as shown in the raid screen. With every minute or so, the heroes in the player’s roster will automatically kill mobs or common monsters to gain loot and experience points, which will accumulate in player’s chest. Players can then collect those whenever convenient.
If players wish to take control of the battle, players can go for boss fights. But even so, there is only little input that is needed from players – they only have to select heroes from their roster into the battle and arrange them in formation. A total of 6 heroes can be brought into battle, with 2 in the frontline and 4 as the back line. If you bring heroes of the same faction into battle, this may activate a certain team stat bonus which will give you an edge in battle. Then, you can just watch the battle play out automatically.

Heroes are the core of the game that comes in different positions and rarity. To make your heroes stronger, you can level them up with the treasure such as coins and Einherjar tokens that you earned from defeating monsters, and awaken their potentials to unleash their real power. Once the heroes reach their maximum upgrade level, players can unlock a higher tier with some coins and Life Essence tokens, which makes them even more powerful. Each hero has his or her own set of skills. At first, the heroes can access their first skill, but the rest can be unlocked through upgrading to higher level tiers. Only Tier 5 heroes can be Awakened to Tier 6, by consuming shards of other heroes.

The way to get heroes to join your team is through summoning. There are different tiers to the rarity of the heroes you might summon, from 1 star to 5 stars heroes. A basic summon has a higher probability of getting a 1- or 2-stars hero, while an advanced summon rewards heroes with 3 stars and above. Stronger heroes can be obtained through the Evolve School, where players can fuse several heroes into much more powerful and high tier ones.

There are two main currencies in this game. The first is coins, which are the most common currency for upgrading heroes. The second is diamonds, which are used to buy powerful gears and summoning scrolls to get more powerful and rarer heroes. Coins can be easily obtained from winning battles, while diamonds can be obtained through quest or daily rewards. For better loots and rewards, players can opt to challenge the Babel Tower, which features 999 levels to play! However, beware that if you lose a fight in Babel Tower, you will lose a Stone Key, which is required to fight in the Tower. These keys can only be bought with gem.

In Tap Heroes: Clicker War, players have the choice of challenging against other players in the Arena. Players can visit the arena, and browse around lists of other players ready to fight at any time. Pick the player that catches your attention, and start sparring right away. Players can make new friends, and add them into their friend list too! This game also allows in-game chatting, so discuss strategy of hero arrangement with your friends! Players can also check out the leaderboard to see who is the current victors in the arena. Players can even check out the heroes, build, status, and even the recorded past matches of other players. This is important as you should know your enemy before challenging them to a fight.

Graphics/ Sound

Tap Heroes: Clicker War is an incredible and addictive game with amazing cartoonish graphics. The battlefields of the heroes and the monsters are gorgeous to look at. Depending on different stages and places, the background theme is varied, which gives flavor to the game. The heroes too are amazingly well drawn, as the heroes have vastly different aesthetics and styles. You can sense the heroes’ personality through their expressive facial expression and unique style of clothing. The background music and sound effects are quite good too, ranging from calming in the home screen to adrenaline-charged rhythms in battle
