Gameplay

When you first enter the game you have a small port with a town hall and a fishery and from there a guide will show you the basics. This is where you then get to take control and start to build up your site into a huge seaside town and port. The first thing to do is to get yourself a ship and start roaming the coast looking for trade. The Docks make your ships and you begin with an ancient trireme.

You also have a lumber mill and some fishing boats both of which will give you the supplies you need to play the game. Fish is used to supply the workers and you need a constant supply. The lumber and other materials are used for buying and making new buildings. These buildings can provide a variety of bonuses as well as other needed materials. These buildings can also be upgraded to make them better, either more storage or to produce more of what you need.

One of the best ways to make gold is to send your ships out to the other islands to explore or trade. Sending a ship is easy, and you can send out all your ships at once, each destination will simply take some time to reach. Your ships can also be upgraded so that they carry more items for trade, or complete the missions faster. Each time your ship comes back it will deposit gold and give you some experience.

This experience counts towards your level, and this determines how many buildings you can have, the types and also the size of your fleet. The higher your level the more you can do and the better your ships can be. You can also explore more of the map the higher you are and this opens up new trade routes and higher rewards for completing them too.

If you get a little lost about what to do next there is a task list, this will guide you in the direction that you need to go as well as reward you for completing the tasks. These rewards are gold, materials end experience, and when you complete a set of 3 a new set will appear. There are also achievements for you to complete that have stronger rewards such as diamonds.
