Ready to start smashing bugs? Awesome! After downloading the app from Android’s Google Play or iOS’s iTunes, you can start the game by typing in your username. You can also sync Monster Let’s Fight with your Facebook account, but that is not necessary in order to play this game.
How to play this game, you may wonder? Well, Monster Let’s Fight does not provide a proper tutorial, but it does give you the basics by highlighting some of the important features in the game. That being said, it is really easy to pick this game right up, especially if you have plenty of experience playing Plants vs Zombies.
Generally, what you’d need to do in this game is to place your monsters on any of the grid in the 5-laned battlefield provided. There are many types of monsters in this game and they can be obtained for free by completing certain levels. If you can spare some of the magic mushrooms (premium currency) you get, you can even win a random and powerful premium monster, such as the fairy egg monster, via the Draw section too. You can only bring up to 5 different types of monsters into any level in the game.
Most of the monsters are also elemental-based in Monster Let’s Fight. For instance, the fire monster can cause burn damage while the ice monster can slow down enemy creeps (or “bugs”). When both of the effects are present though, they will cancel each other out. However, certain creep requires a specific combination of elemental effects or you can hardly damage it. For example, you’ll need to freeze the ladybug before flaming it in order to deal any significant damage.
Each monster has their own range of attack as well, so be sure to place your monsters strategically. You wouldn’t want to have short-range monsters hogging up all your available grid space at the very back of the battlefield. Not to mention, monster eggs that you place on the battlefield will require several seconds before hatching into a monster. Thus, you’ll need to plan ahead and place monsters accordingly. Opps... did you just accidentally placed the wrong monster? Well, the game provides a helpful wooden mallet to help you remove the ill-placed monster.
In addition, placing monsters require points and you can get the necessary points by tapping on any of the lighted up egg statues that lined the battlefield. Unlike the Sunflowers in Plants vs Zombies, you only have up to 6 egg statues per battlefield. However, at the beginning, only the first egg statue will be active. You’ll then need to collect enough points to unlock each subsequent egg statues in order to get them to start churning out points as well. So, you might be hard-pressed when deciding to either store up your points to unlock a new egg statue or use the points up to place new monsters onto the battlefield. No matter what’s your decision is though, the most important thing in this game is that you should not let any of the bugs reach any of the candy stash at the end of the battlefield. If you can do that, you’ll win the level.
Monsters Let’s Fight features plenty of levels for you to enjoy. Each game will cost you a certain amount of energy to play, so you won’t be able to burn through all the levels in one go. Furthermore, the progression system in this game is linear. This means that you’ll need to get pass level 1, for instance, in order to move on to level 2. If you fail level 1, you’ll then need to repeat that level until you succeed.
Failing the same level repeatedly? Well, don’t despair or start pulling out your hair in frustration just yet! You can remedy the situation by upgrading your little adorable monsters. Each level up will cost you coins that you can earn by completing levels. How much coins you get though will depend on your performance. After leveling your monsters up to the maximum limit of 10, you can then evolve your monsters using evolution pills. These pills can be hard to come by, but they are very useful in turning your monsters from weaker version into a much more powerful and cooler-looking monster.
In this section, you can also check out how many monsters you have in your team and even sell off monsters that you no longer need or want. It can be hard to collect all of the monsters in your inventory because of the limited space provided... unless you are willing to spend whatever magic mushrooms (premium currency) that you can get either by completing a level or spending some real cash, that is.

Being the first mobile game released by the GIGA Team, the graphics in Monster Let’s Fight is not as beautiful as some of the other tower defense titles like Alien Creeps, Plants vs Zombies or Kingdom Rush. This is a part where the game can improve on. In addition, the music in this game isn’t that well-composed, unfortunately. Thankfully, you can easily turn off the music on your mobile device.
Although the graphics and sound of the game aren’t exactly top-notch, Monster Let’s Fight is still a very unique tower-defense-like mobile title that features some interesting gameplay mechanics that are not seen in any other popular tower defense games. In this game, you’ll need to push back the horde of bugs from reaching the candy that the monsters have painstakingly gathered. Collect different types of monsters, level them up and evolving them into cooler and much more powerful monsters to keep up with the increasingly challenging creeps coming your way.
