Enter the world of Board Kings and enjoy a brilliant game where you can build a small town of your own, run around collecting money and even jumping on a train to another town to take a look around and maybe even steal a little from your friends to help yourself along. This amazingly cute game will keep you entertained for hours and hours as your bunnies roam the streets.
You are the owner of a small board city, and it is up to you to build, upgrade and defend this cute little world. As you get more buildings you are able to do more and more different things, collect more money and have a greater population to look after. But beware, other players can pop by and cause havoc, but of course you can return the favour too.
In Board Kings you are entering a world of board games, made cute and fluffy in a stunning 3D world. But there is much more to this game than simply rolling a dice, there are many fun things you can do and it can get quite addictive.
You begin the game with an empty board and a few dice rolls in which to run around. As you move you will unlock your bank. Once this is open each square you land on has an amount of coins for you to pick up. These coins are then used to buy more buildings and upgrade as you go for quests.
The concept is simple, roll the dice and your character moves that number of squares. There are several different buildings that you make with special uses. One of them is a police station where you have patrols on the board, more about that later. There is also a train station, town hall and much more. When you land on the square next to one of these places you will get a special effect.
One of these effects is to attempt to steal money from another player, either one of your friends or random other characters from all over the world. In another you get onto a train and ride to a different board city. Here you also roll the dice and move around, you can crush buildings, make money or get special bonuses. Once you have been around the board once you are then heading back home.
However, this is where your police bunnies come in, if you land on a square with a patrol car on it you are put into prison. You can either get lucky and roll double on your dice, or pay a certain amount to leave the cell. Once you are released you go straight home, so avoiding the police is a good idea. But remember you also have your own patrol cars too, so upgrading your police station can be good for you too.
The main currency of the game is coins, as mentioned there are several ways for you to collect them, the simplest is to move around your board or stealing from a player. If you are running low and want more quickly there is also the option to buy them using gems. Gems are collected from one of your buildings, awarded from quests or stolen from players. They are also available to purchase for real money inside of the game.
To move around the board you roll dice, you begin the game with a few rolls to get some money and your town going. Once you are past the tutorial stage you then have a maximum of 30 rolls available to you. You will get a new roll every 15 minutes of real time, and there are also several ways of winning or buying them for gems and real money. This limit is what stops you just completing your town really fast, but it also adds a brilliant random element to the action.
It can be really exciting when you visit another town or get to try and steal some coins from another player, it can pretty fun getting these and you can also make a huge profit if you get really lucky. On the other side this can also happen to you, though if it does it will not take everything, as the maximum amount that can go is limited so you won’t be broke at the end of it.
This is a relatively new game, but there is already a large community of players, and it will only get bigger as the game becomes more well known. You can attach your Facebook account to Board Kings and enjoy all of the benefits with playing with your friends, as well as see how they are doing. All together this is going to create a very lively and fun place for you to be.
The look of the game can be summed up in one simple word, and that word is amazing. With a very cute and distinctive style the first look is great. As you start to play you are able to move the board around in so many ways, zoom in and out, and rotate both round and up and down to get a really close up view. The animations are really well done and the whole experience is very smooth.
This is a highly addictive game with a lot of potential, the developers Jelly Button Games have a great experience in this style of game with Pirate Kings and this new title looks to be as good if not better. With its simple design, amazing look and brilliant gameplay Board Kings looks set to be a big hit, and we heartily recommend giving it a go today!
