Summary

Join Robinson Crusoe on his adventures on a remote and mysterious tropical island that he was washed up on after his ship was ravaged by a brutal storm that had killed his entire crew. Help him search for hidden yet essential items from the damaged ship in an attempt to make his life on the island as comfortable as possible. Salvage parts from the destroyed ship to construct a new boat so Robinson can return to his homeland, England. So, unravel the mystery behind the island, meet new characters and survive in this incredible adventure today!

Plotline

For all his life, Robinson Crusoe has longed for the sea. Even when his father had wanted Robinson to follow in his footsteps to become a merchant, Robinson has been very resolute in his dream. He went on various voyages across the seas and has visited many a continent. However, on his fateful trip to Africa, a storm ravaged his ship and panic ensued on board. When he finally woke up from the ordeal, he was safely ashore on a remote and mysterious tropical island. From there, you’ll need to help Robinson scavenged the ship for any salvageable goods to survive on an unknown island as well as to craft a new boat to return back to his homeland, England.

Gameplay

The game provides 2 game modes for you to choose from timed or relaxed, depending on how challenged you’ll want to feel while playing this game. Once chosen, the game will show you a nice cinematic of sorts that depicts the background of how Robinson Crusoe managed to arrive on a remote island. When the cinematic ends, your adventure with Robinson truly begins!

In this game, sparkles are provided to helpfully show you the places of interest in a location. These places of interest usually contain a hidden object scene. Scenes in this game are consisted of the basic word list type, meaning that you’re given a list of names of random items you’ll need to find. Interestingly, the game doesn’t just ask you to search for random items. Sometimes, you’ll need to search for a single item but multiple copies of it in various forms.

Scenes in Adventures of Robinson Crusoe can be pretty tough at times as some items are small and inconspicuous, so much so that you might even miss it after “turning over” the entire scene repeatedly with your eyes. If you are playing the timed version, you’ll surely be frantically searching for the items needed! Thankfully, the game offers you free hints that will randomly highlight an item on your list.

In Adventures of Robinson Crusoe, there are also plenty of fun and brain-teasing puzzles for you to enjoy!
