Another MMORPG worth playing!

Pandora's Box has been destroyed. The gods of Olympus have summoned you to vanquish the forces of evil. Will you answer their call?

That is the role you will play in the browser-based MMO Mythborne. In this RPG, you play the role of a Greek heroine (yes, the main characters are women) tasked to enforce the will of the gods and battle the forces of evil that have been unleashed upon the world by the opening of Pandora's Box. It is a bleak world that needs rescuing; even the famed heroes of ancient Greece have had their hearts conquered by the darkness spawned by the destruction of the Box by the 7 Powers, the evil Titans.

There are four types of heroines in the game. At some point during the introduction, Hercules will ask you to choose between the Duelist, Oracle, Hunter, Mage and Paladin classes. The Paladin is the strongest offensive force amongst the four, followed by the Duelist who specializes in devastating physical attacks. The Oracle is provides magic support like healing in this MMORPG, while the Hunter is capable of inflicting powerful physical attacks from a distance. Finally, the Mage is the opposite of the Oracle; this heroine can cast powerful attack magic.

Mythborne allows you to set up a team of heroes, which you can recruit from the Tavern. Take note that your first recruit is a Duelist named Luna. If you like a mix of various classes in your team, you could pick a class that will complement her at the beginning stages of your journey. Your next hero is Hector, the Prince of Troy, who is a Paladin. Recruiting heroes will increase your Battle Rating, something that you will want to keep going up as you progress through the game.

One of the game's unique features is the Tactics section. In here, you can set up your team's lineup for battle. This is where your knowledge of the individual classes' strong and weak points comes into play. Paladins, for instance, are heavy in armor (they are even called Tanks) so they are best placed at the front of your lineup. Mages, Oracles and Hunters are best positioned in the rear where they are the least exposed to the enemy's physical attacks.

The gameplay is very smooth, and does not require a lot of effort from you. All you have to do here, actually, is just to click. The game features the auto-pathfinding feature, which allows you to simply click on a Quest on the right-side dialog box, and the system will steer the character automatically to where it needs to go. This makes for a very fast-paced gameplay, even in battles.

The battles in this MMORPG are semi-automatic. Your characters move on their own sequences, and the only intervention you need to make is to click on the Skill that you want your main heroine to attack with. Aside from that, you can just sit back and enjoy the battle animations, which you can actually skip for a limited number of times if you are not interested. This is one of the strong points and definitely one of the reasons why you should be adding this to your to-play list.

Graphics in this MMORPG are simply beautiful. The artwork is, for lack of a better word, divine, especially the goddesses. When you click on a character to talk to as part of a quest, you get treated to a beautifully drawn character portrait above the subtitles that represent that character's dialogue. The game's graphics are also smoothly complemented by an amazing score that makes you wonder if you are watching a movie instead of a game.

The game seems to give Gold, its currency, in very abundant amounts. Each quest can give you as much as 5000 pieces of Gold. In addition to in-game cash, battles and quests can also give you rare loot such as new equipment and training books. When these are received, you get a notification at the bottom corner of the screen. You can simply click that notification in order to equip the new battle gear, or use the training book to upgrade skills, among other actions.

Mythborne is browser-based, so loading time is not that long as compared to other client-based MMOs. With an account at the developers' website or even just a Facebook account, you can log in easily to the game’s portal anywhere you are and be able to play, as long as there is a decent Internet connection at your disposal.

Give this game a try! It deserves no less than 9 stars for its amazing graphics, fast-paced gameplay and ease of access.
