Lonely Mountains: Downhill is a beautiful cycling game that lets you take a bike ride across various locales, from serene mountains, rocky canyons, and lush greenery. Despite the rather relaxing ambiance and atmosphere it provides, it is undoubtedly one of the most challenging games out there. We got our hands on a copy last month, and it’s safe to say we had a blast while working on the review.

New DLC: Misty Peak

With that said, the team at Megagon and Thunderful released one of the game’s free DLCs, Misty Peak, just this week on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

In a nutshell, Misty Peak brings you to an old location, Graterhorn, but it gives you a new trail to explore. Without diving deep into spoiler territory, it gives you a good long look at the mountain’s peak, and yes, you’ll end up riding and resting amongst the clouds. Moreover, it will feature a plethora of new exciting challenges, outfits, backpacks, and new paint jobs to spruce up your bicycle.

And, much like the other trails in the game, Misty Peak will have its own leaderboard. So yes, you’ll end up attempting to top other players’ times to get to the top spot. However, if you’re not the competitive sort, don’t worry: just enjoy pedaling and taking in the sites and sights.
