Founded on 1982 by Trip Hawkins, EA (Electronic Arts) is an american game Developer, Marketer, Publisher and Distributor.
EA's HQ sits in California and the company employs approximately 10,000 people in dozens of studios and subsidiaries.
EA is one of the biggest game companies in the world and was the third highest grossing game company in 2011 After Nintendo and Blizzard-Activision with a yearly revenue of 3.797 Billion USD in 2013.

During their History, EA has merged into it a few leading gaming companies, among them are Westwood (C&C, Red Alert), PopCap games (Plants vs. Zombies, Bejeweled), Maxis (Simcity, The Sims), Visceral Games (Dead Space), BioWare (Mass Effect, Star Wars The Old Republic) and more.

What do they do?
EA has a highly diverse game spectrum spreading all over the board aimed for all Platforms: PC, Consoles and Mobile.

What does the future hold?
EA continues to be a major player in the gaming scene holding many of beloved highly popular franchises that keeps growing.
